We successfully hosted our event in Munich, bringing together voices from politics, science, and industry to discuss the future of the European space sector.
We were honored to welcome Slovenian Minister Matjaž Han and Dr. Markus Wittmann, Ministerial Director at the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. Both emphasized the importance of cross-border collaboration between Slovenia and Bavaria at the broader European level. The event was also joined by the Slovenian Ambassador to Germany, Dr. Ana Polak Petrič, and the Consul General of the Republic of Slovenia, Maša Šiftar.

The evening featured an innovation spotlight by Lin Livrin, an Aerospace student at TUM, who presented a new ignition system for satellites to enable their controlled return to Earth, a step toward sustainable space technology.
Our panel discussion featured insightful contributions from
Pelin Afat
Josef Wiedemann
Iztok Kramberger
Moderated by Stefan Drüssler
The key takeaway? Europe must take responsibility for its future to achieve true independence in the space and defense sectors.
We wrapped up with great questions from the audience, followed by food, drinks, and some fantastic conversations.
A big thank-you to all participants and guests, let’s continue shaping a strong and united European space future!
